Interiors

This watchtower villa in Tuscany sleeps up to 12 people. There are a total of 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. On the ground floor you will find a dining room with fireplace, table and chairs. From here you access the first two double bedrooms. One can be converted to a twin room and both have bathrooms. Both of these have showers. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you may need to cook at home. Finally, there is a further double bedroom with an en suite bathroom which has both a bathtub and separate shower. On the first floor of the villa you will find a bright lounge with beautiful countryside views. At one end is the living room with sofas, a TV and an open fireplace. At the other end you have a large dining table and chairs as well as a little kitchenette. This room opens onto a terrace furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco. On the terrace there are also several sun loungers. This is a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the sea views, drink in hand. You can see as far as the Tuscan islands of Giglio and Montecristo on the horizon. There is another wing of the villa in the ancient tower, which you can reach via a little staircase. Here you will find another double bedroom with fireplace. On the level above you have a dressing room and an en suite bathroom with shower. From here you access a pretty terrace on top of the tower. Close by in the garden you will find an annexe. Here there are two further double bedrooms each with en suite bathroom with shower. There is also a living room. Finally, you will find air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout the property except in the tower bedroom.

Exteriors

The property has a stunning terrace with panoramic sea views. Steps lead to a further terrace area below where there is also a swimming pool (6m x 4m) surrounded by a wooden sun deck. Here you can enjoy a barbecue whilst gazing out at the beautiful sunset. The villa has its own private path leading down to a rocky beach shared with one other property. You can access the sea here, and there is a further sun deck.

Location

Our watchtower villa in Tuscany is in an exclusive area of Tuscany. You will find the beautiful Maremma national park close by and you can explore it on foot, horseback or bike. The scenery is diverse, with gorgeous yachts moored in the harbours alongside fishing boats. Gently sloping green hills lead to the town of Fonteblanda which is just over 1 km from the villa. Here you will find a variety of shops and local restaurants. When you can tear yourself away from the pool, there are many interesting towns to explore within easy driving distance as well as some of Italy’s loveliest beaches.
