Interiors

This Venetian Grand Mansion’s luxurious interiors are spread over three floors and a basement. The ornate rooms feature XVth century frescoes and are furnished with beautiful antique furniture.

On the ground floor, guests will find a sumptuous living room with sofas and an elegant wooden cabinet. A dining room also features on this floor with its high ceilings and frescoed walls. On the other side, guests will find two exquisite double bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. Spacious and authentic, the frescoes illustrate vines vine leaves in the first room, and traditional estates in the second. Both bedrooms access their own private bathroom.

Up the grand staircase, guests will find a lavish drawing room furnished with sitting areas, a TV, DVD player and sound system. An elegantly decorated study stands across from the drawing room. Two double bedrooms are also featured on this floor, just as luxuriously decorated and each with their own private bathrooms. A smaller single bedroom is also at guests’ disposal. A frescoed terrace furnished with a sitting area allows guests to enjoy views of the luscious garden and vineyards.

The second floor consists of a mezzanine area featuring two charming additional bedrooms. The first bedroom is a single and the other is either a twin or a double bedroom depending on guests’ needs. The rooms share a bathroom.

In the basement of the property, guests will find a fully equipped kitchen and a large pantry.  A laundry room , bathroom and garage also feature on this floor.

Exteriors

A splendid dining area on the outside terrace of the ground floor allows guests to enjoy their meals outdoors, shaded by a stunning frescoed archway.

The Venetian Grand Mansion is positioned at the centre of a charming jardin à la française encircled by a large estate of vineyards which produce world renowned wine. Guests may also enjoy the pool, surrounded with deckchairs or wander through the extensive vineyards.

Just outside of the Villa walls, guests have exclusive access to a fenced park of 6 hectares. Please note that the green oasis and the swimming lake are not for the exclusive use of the villa’s guests, but shared with other guests.

Additional Services

A full-time guardian will be present in the Venetian Grand Mansion and the rental also includes daily cleaning service. The guardian will furthermore be responsible to open the villa in the mornings, close it when guests leave the house.

All bedrooms are equipped with an air conditioning system. Free WiFi is also available throughout the Villa.

Upon request, wine tastings may be organised for guests to savour the wines produced by the estate. We may also arrange a breakfast service at extra cost, as well as central heating and extra household help.

Location

The Villa is located at the top of the Montecchia hill in Veneto, in the province of the picturesque city of Padua. The Veneto region is home to a multitude of natural, artistic, and traditional treasures.

This location of the mansion is optimal for enjoying the calmness of nature whilst having some of the most beautiful spots of Italy within reach. Indeed, La Montecchia is a strategic starting point for visiting the art heritage cities of Padua, Venice and Verona.

For sports amateurs, a golf course, tennis tennis courts and bike tours are an option. The thermal spas of “Terme di Abano” and “Galzignano” are within close proximity for guests to enjoy a moment of relaxation in a peaceful environment.

Guests will also find a Michelin star restaurant in the adjacent golf club which may serve meals to the villa upon request.
