Interiors

Built in 1560 by the Medici, this Tuscany Seafront Castle displays grand, spacious interiors, completely modernised for a luxurious experience. The Castle comfortably accommodates 9 guests in 5 bedrooms. On the ground floor, guests will find a sumptuous living room with a TV and two different lounge areas and two fireplaces separated by a large archway. A spacious kitchen and dining area are also located on the ground floor. Fully equipped, the kitchen includes an oven, stove and dishwasher.

On this floor, guests will also find two bedrooms. The first one features a double bed and has its own private bathroom. The other is a twin room, and also features its own bathroom.

The first floor can be accessed both from outside up a stone staircase or from inside. This is where guests will find the two grand bedrooms. The first bedroom is a majestic space with a double bed and bathroom with a bathtub. It also accesses a balcony with splendid views of the sea. The master suite is particularly notable for its private living space, jacuzzi, sauna and sweeping views.

In the tower, guests will find an additional double bedroom with en suite bathroom and stunning views. This bedroom also easily accesses the terrace at the top of the tower for even more breathtaking views.

Wifi features throughout the Villa. A washing machine is also at guests’ disposal. Due to good ventilation even in the summer, air conditioning only features in the double room of the first floor since the house remains cool throughout the year. Two custodians live in the adjacent caretaker’s house, and will arrange housekeeping and preparation of meals upon request.

Exteriors

This Tuscany Seafront Castle stands in a dominating position right on the edge of sea, above the town of Punta Ala. Its prime position allows for spectacular 360 views of the area. On the one side, guests may admire the stunning port of Punta Ala with its breathtaking sunsets, and on the other side, the sea and its beach.

Surrounded by a green lawn and trees, the Castle also features an enchanting infinity pool overlooking the sea. Guests of the Castle also benefit from a private access to the beach below.

A private parking area is also at disposal.

Location

Punta Ala is a luxurious holiday destination in Maremma, on the Tuscan coast in the province of Grosseto. Known for its regattas and splendid beaches, it combines nature with comfort. The port is filled with restaurants, and the town includes anything guests might need such as supermarkets and even a golf club. The town of Castiglione della Pescaia with its medieval fortress and natural reserve is just a 20min drive away. For guests wishing to travel to some of Tuscany’s art cities, Siena is just a 1h30 drive away, as is Pisa. The seaside town of Livorno is also at a similar distance.
