Interiors

The villa, built in the 19th century, is an exclusive retreat on one of the most beautiful coastlines of the world. The property is on 5 levels and its interiors are truly characteristic of the Amalfi Coast, with majolica tiled floors and pieces of period furniture. In the bright living room you will find a stone fireplace, an antique library, comfortable sofas, and paintings. The dining room has a table with chairs for up to 12 people. Three fully-equipped kitchens and a wine cellar built into the rock, thus making this property ideal for food lovers.

The villa can accommodate up to 16 people in 8 panoramic ensuite bedrooms, 3 on the attic floor with oval windows, 3 on the first floor and 2 on the ground floor. All rooms are pleasant and charming, with beautiful cotto or wooden floors, frame windows overlooking the sea or private terraces. Some of the bathrooms also have a jacuzzi. The interiors of the basement floor is for the exclusive use of the Staff.

The 5 floors of the main building are connected through an elevator, from the roof top to the big covered loggia below. At the very end of this long covered area, where the pizza oven and the barbecue are, is also a large panoramic kitchen overlooking the sea. With a large cooking island with oven, double fridge, dishwasher, espresso machine, ice machine, washer and dryer, this kitchen is designed for cooking class and wine tastings. It is provided with motorized sliding cristal curtains to close the area if necessary. Thanks to the elevator, the villa is among the very few on the Amalfi coast to be accessible also to elderly people and people with reduced walking capacity or in a wheelchair.

Exteriors

The outdoor is the true jewel of this Ravello villa for rent. Its unique terraced gardens cultivated with pink bougainvillea and lemon trees overlook an awe-inspiring coastline, characterized by steep cliffs and antique villas. One hundred and twenty stone steps lead to the sea. The water is transparent here and two private solariums with sun beds will be at your disposal. The sea platforms are covered with a fine gravel drowned in resin and two steel ladders make make access to the sea easy. The first ladder is vertical and robust, very easy to climb from the ocean, the second is horizontal and made of two shelves on which people can sit comfortably with their legs in the water pampered by the waves.

The property also features different panoramic terraces, literally dominating the Amalfi bay, furnished with outdoor dining tables and parasols. The gardens with lawn, equipped with sun beds, are furthermore ideal places to sunbathe. In addition, the swimming pool  (4,3 x 2,3 meters) has heated water with upstream swimming and water massage. Guests will also find an infrared sauna in a natural grotto

Location

The Villa is located in the seaside part of Ravello, while the historical center of the town is up on the hill at about 5 km far (15 minutes by car). The Villa is very close to Amalfi, Atrani and Minori far about 15-20 minutes walking distance. Any way there is a stop bus just outside the Villa’s gate, so the car not is always necessary!
