Interiors

The newly renovated Martano Masseria pays tribute to its rich history. With its bare drystone walls and elegant arched ceilings beautifully indicating its 17th Century origins. Simultaneously, with its stylish white modern furnishings and spacious set-up, the villa effortlessly maintains a fresh, up-to-date feel. A particular highlight of the property is its two large living areas. Indeed, their high-arched ceilings, give them an almost church-like quality: the perfect spaces for spiritually enriching social occasions. The first serves as a dining room, with a large dining table, sitting up to twelve people. The second room has an additional smaller table, seating six people. It also doubles as a living room, with a comfortable sofa and armchairs. The property also enjoys a spacious, newly refurbished kitchen.

The Martano Masseria boasts five beautifully furnished double bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. Each bedroom is equipped with a double bed and memory foam mattress, allowing visitors to enjoy a perfect night sleep. Visitors may also make use of the mini fridge, television and strongbox found in each bedroom.

Exteriors

The Martano Masseria boasts a beautiful private infinity swimming pool (70 meters squared), equipped with a water massage setting. Bordering this beautiful pool are padded sun loungers, the perfect space for enjoying a lazy early-evening drink. Furthermore, the pool is surrounded by a lawned area, dotted with lush green trees, adding a freshness and vibrancy to the outdoor area. The whole space is bordered on three sides by traditional high drystone walls, which grants guests the maximum sense of privacy whilst they relax in their little private oasis.

Location

This beautiful villa is found by the town Martano, within the Province of Lecce. The province is located within the larger Salento Peninsula, otherwise known as the ‘heel of the Italian boot’, bordered on the west by the Ionian Sea and on the east by the Adriatic. This region boasts a lovely climate, stunning beaches with crystal blue waters and unspoilt historic towns. A perfect example of one such town is Martano itself, in which visitors are met by grand castles and beautiful baroque churches. The Martano Luxury Masseria is also very strategically situated for those who wish to explore some of the region’s more natural beauty. Martano is enviably located at just 13 kilometers from the stunning Alimini beach, in which visitors may enjoy its clear azure waters and fine golden sand. For a taste of the region’s more verdant natural beauty, Le Cesine, a lush nature reserve of dunes and marshland, is also located just 17 kilometers away.
