Lucca Luxury Retreat | Tuscany

Immersed in the harmonious Tuscan countryside, this Lucca Luxury Retreat displays distinctive old Tuscan features whilst providing guests with quality modern facilities. Fully restored, the mansion accommodates up to 15 guests in total.

Interiors

The Lucca Luxury Retreat is furnished with traditional Tuscan terracotta floors and wood beamed ceilings. The main house, which may host up to 15 guests, features a sumptuous banquet hall, meticulously decorated with antique furniture, paintings and traditional crockery. Adjacent to this are a series of rooms including a sitting room with comfortable sofas and a TV, a drawing room and a winter garden conservatory. Guests access the spacious kitchen from the sitting room.  Fully equipped with everything you may need, the kitchen retains its traditional Tuscan charm. Stove, oven, kettle, mixer, ham cutter and all kitchen utensils are at your disposal.

Moving onto the bedrooms, the Tuscan mansion contains 7 vast double bedrooms and one single bedroom. Each room is tastefully decorated in its unique way but in harmony with the rest of the villa. Some of the more spacious bedrooms also include lounge areas or desks. Furthermore, the mansion features 8 bathrooms.

Exteriors

An Italian style garden unfolds in front of the villa, merging with the surrounding landscape. On the patio, you will find a grand exterior dining area shielded with parasols allowing you to enjoy your meals outdoors in the Tuscan air. A stone path shaded by a rose covered pergola leads you down to the floodlit swimming pool (12 m x 4 m x 1,8m). Deckchairs surround the pool, framed by a vast lawn. A barbecue is also at your disposal.

Facilities and Services

All rooms of the Lucca Luxury Retreat contain individually controlled air conditioning or heating. There is also Wireless Internet Access as well as a phone line in each room.

In terms of services, a chef is present for the preparation of both breakfast and one meal of your choice, 6 days a week. Guests also benefit from a daily maid service, also 6 days a week, as well as a concierge service on site. A gardener and pool attendant will also look after the estate during your stay.

Location

Immersed in the northern Tuscan countryside, the Lucca Luxury Retreat’s location is ideal for touring the most famous towns of Tuscany. Only 6 km away from Lucca, the town of 1000 churches and 12 km from Pisa, a historical and artistic experience is just a short drive away. The iconic city of Florence is also within reach, situated only 31 km from the villa. If you are in the mood for a change of atmosphere, the famous beaches of Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio are also just a short drive away. Therefore, although its location is the tranquil countryside, guests have the freedom to explore historic towns, parks, and beaches alike. A golf course and tennis club are also in the neighbourhood.
