Interiors

Our Arezzo winery villa sleeps up to 12 guests. The property retains lovely original features such as wooden beams and fireplaces, but has been updated with luxurious furnishings and modern appliances. On the ground floor there is a large living room with sofas, a table and chairs and an open fireplace. The view from this room is simply beautiful. Windows look directly out over the gently sloping hillside. A large kitchen comes fully-equipped with a dining table and 6 chairs, which leads out to the terrace and garden. There is a further outdoor dining area here with a large dining table that boasts countryside views.

You will also find three double rooms, each with its own en suite bathroom with shower. There is a second grand dining room, which can seat up to 12 guests. Additionally there is a snug living room, a second kitchen and three further double bedrooms with their own en suite bathrooms with showers.

Exteriors

This Arezzo winery villa dates from the 19th century and is an eco-friendly, sustainable structure. The house has been recently renovated using top-quality sustainable materials to significantly reduce its energy consumption. The villa boasts a breathtaking view out over Arezzo and the green sloping valley surrounding the city. There is a lovely private garden with a large private swimming pool and parking reserved exclusively for guests. This countryside villa is one of two houses situated on the same estate. Guests can also rent the together for a large group still wanting to enjoy some privacy.

Location

Our Arezzo winery villa is surrounded by an area of outstanding unspoilt natural beauty, tucked away in an estate covering 23 hectares of vineyards and greenery. The villa is situated in the centre of the Podere di Pomaio Green Winery, known for their production of sustainable and natural wines. This vineyard has one of Tuscany’s most beautiful wine-cellars. There is a tasting room with lovely sunny terraces. Enjoy wine tours, tastings and cookery classes, or simply admire the landscape while relaxing over a traditional Tuscan meal. You can also organise your own special dinner or event in this space. The beautiful city of Arezzo is very close to the estate, at just a 5 minute drive away. Famous from its cameo in Benigni’s film La Vita è Bella, Arezzo is a romantic setting for a day out, with fascinating churches and museums as well as excellent shopping.
